A handcrafted necklace featuring a scenic dendritic agate, set in sterling silver using a modern open-side bezel design.

The stone is an oval (15mm x 9mm) and set vertically in a portrait orientation to emphasize its natural landscape-like pattern.

Warm tones of soft yellow, creamy translucence, and subtle bronze flow through the agate, while a dark dendritic inclusion branches across one half of the stone like a miniature tree scene. The contrast between the structured “landscape” side and the soft open area makes this piece feel both grounded and airy at the same time.

To highlight the stone’s natural beauty, I used an open-side bezel setting—removing sections of the silver on the sides so light can pass through more freely. The result is a lighter, more modern feel while still securely framing the stone.
